Bid Coordinator Summary:

We are a commercial and industrial HVAC Contractor looking to add a talented and self-motivated individual to our team. This role will serve as a bridge between estimating, administration and construction departments. The ideal candidate will be able to work well independently or as a team, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Minimum Requirements (but not limited to):

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years’ experience

MS Office Proficient

Professional phone etiquette

Proficiency in Typing & Data Entry

Scanning & emailing Documents

Good Communication & Organizational Skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Self-Starter with strong problem solving skills

Good work ethic with ability to complete tasks timely

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality & data security

Marketing Skills - Website, Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - posting company announcements, events, pictures of work in progress on current projects.

Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to) :

- Reviewing new proposal requests and issuing request for proposals to appropriate vendors

- Updating bid calendars

- Following up with vendors on bid request

- Following up with general contractors on submitted proposals

- Contacting architects and owners for bid lists

- Requesting and submitting submittal packages

- Following up on submittal packages and revise and resubmitting upon request

- Updating pre-construction spreadsheets

- Completing required pre-construction paperwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
