Position located in Cambridge, MA
Responsibilities of the Research Associate II (Biochemistry):
Will perform biological characterization techniques such as FTIR spectroscopy, XPS, AFM, SEM, and SPR.
Will help design and run experiments, collect and analyze data, and clearly summarize objectives, conclusion, observations and next steps in team meetings and discussions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and optimize a diagnostic technology and solve challenging problems.
Maintain a lab notebook and keep up to date on the latest developments in chemistry, biochemistry, and analytical characterization.
Requirements of the Research Associate II (Biochemistry):
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience with point-of-care diagnostic technologies or biosensors are a plus.
Proficient in the use of analytical and/or biological characterization techniques including FTIR, DLS, SPR (Biacore or Octet), UV-Vis spectroscopy (Nanodrop), and/or fluorescence microscopy.
