Elera Staffing is Hiring a Travel RN- Med/surg up to $4690/week Near Grand Forks, ND

Assignment DetailsPosition Title- Registered Nurse- Traveler
Specialty- Med/surg Covid Unit
Facility- Altru Medical Center
Length- 13 week
Start Date- ASAP
Shift- Day and night shift available
Mandatory Total hours each week- 48 hours ( 12 hour shift x 4)
Pay DetailsBase- $70/HR= $3640/week
Tax Free stipend - $1050/week
Total Weekly Gross Pay
= $4690/week
Job Duties1. Responsible for the clinical record for each patient receiving nursing care.
2. Assures that progress reports are made to the physician for patients receiving nursing services, when the patient’s condition changes, or there are deviations from the plan of care.
3. Adheres to facility’s policies and procedures, including patient care policies.
4. Performs initial patient evaluations / assessments and develops a written plan of care.
5. Regularly re-assesses the patient’s condition and nursing needs and up-dates the plan of care.
6. Furnishes those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
7. Initiates appropriate preventive nursing procedures.
8. Prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient's condition and needs.
9. Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
10. Demonstrates competency in providing patient care and provides care in accordance with professional standards and state’s nurse practice act.
11. Initiates case conferences and communicates patient plan of care with team members.
12. Evaluates and re-evaluates the need for services.
13. Provides appropriate patient education and teaching materials.
14. Participate in the Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
15. Participate in committees when requested.
16. Attends continuing education programs and staff meetings as appropriate to job responsibilities.
17. Represents facility in a positive and professional manner.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Credentials RequiredBLS-American Heart Association
ACLS- Required for all nurses ( except Psych and Med/surg specialty)
Covid vaccine
State Professional License with no restrictions
Be able to pass a 10 Panel Drug screen (must be taken within 48 hours of contract verbal acceptance
2 References from at least 1 supervisor ( will accept previous written evaluations that are not older than 1 year
Hepatitis B/ or Declination
Flu Vaccine
Varicella- Series or titer(Titer Valid for 10 years)
TB skin test in last 1 year
TDAP in last 10 years
MMR- Series or Titer(Titers are valid for 10 years
Must be able to pass a background check
Physical statement from physician that states "fit to work with no restriction and free of communicable diseases
