Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival

- Escort guests to their tables and present menus

- Assist with seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and group sizes

- Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations

- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

- Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner

- Support other front-of-house duties as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred

- Knowledge of food service industry practices and procedures

- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus,

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
