Job Purpose:

The Department Lead is responsible for overseeing and leading the successful completion of work in a particular area of the business; these areas of the business may include Clothing, Warehouse, Customer Service and Cashiering.

Job Responsibilities:

• Always represent the store in a favorable manner, in keeping with Black Friday$ Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Lead, motivate, encourage, and challenge team members toward excellent performance, specifically within their assigned area.
• Engage with customers and team members with the goal of creating a welcoming environment.
• Assist Store Management in training and motivating team members to achieve goals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead the timely completion of tasks within the assigned area of leadership.
• Lead and improve sales/process/maintenance within the assigned area of leadership.
• Coach team members to appropriately stock, merchandize, clean, and/or serve customers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Spearhead new initiatives and procedures as directed by Store Management.
• Ensure that the department area under their leadership is meeting the standards of performance set forth by Store Management.
• Engage in active communication with Store Management regarding successes and failures within the designated department.
• Assist in daily operations including opening and closing procedures.

• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to actively promote our Brand/Assigned Store in our Social Media Platforms

• Follow all Black Friday$ policies and procedures.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by Store Management.
• Open and/or close the store a minimum of 3 days weekly.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Retail Management experience
• Excel & Word fluent
• Bilingual
• Open Availability (evenings & Weekends)
