Job Description **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Ability to read, analyze procedures, contracts and Government Rules and Regulations.
* Responsible for the direct supervision, evaluation and training of VLT personnel including issuing appropriate coaching and discipline to staff.
* Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
* Responsible for understanding and enforcing Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
* Conducts interviews of employee candidates; assigns employee personnel when necessary.
* Assists VLT Shift Manager in all phases of VLT Operations including assisting guests with promotions on the floor.
* Supervises staff and slot areas; re-assigns shift work schedules and floor attendants when necessary.
* Observes and recognizes irregularities in personnel or guests.
* Responsible for understanding all available slot floor system reports, game information and knowledge of the player tracking system to investigate and resolve guest complaints.
* Ensures that VLT Attendants work with cage personnel, security officers or other Delaware Park staff in regards to payouts, e-ticket paper fills and exchange slips.
* Promotes teamwork and fulfills the segregation of duties and responsibilities for State regulatory compliance.
* Knowledgeable and actively promotes Marketing events by communicating necessary information to floor personnel; available to assist marketing personnel when necessary.
* Reports all potential adverse situations such as safety hazards, intoxicated or disruptive guests, slot cheats or disputes beyond the scope of their position to a Shift Manager immediately
* Responsible for accountability of all issued and unissued VLT machine keys.
* Promotes outstanding customer and employee relations while Building Rewarding Relationships.
* Creates a Fun and Friendly atmosphere
* Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
* One (1) to Three (3) years experience in gaming operations.
* Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to lift Forty (40) lbs. in weight and push or pull up to Fifty (50) lbs in weight without difficulty.
* Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills required.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management is mandatory.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule due to the needs of the business including weekends and holidays as required.
