OVERVIEW:

Our family orthodontics practice is seeking a friendly, dependable DA / RDA or Clinical Assistant (no dental experience necessary for the Clinical Assistant position) to join our team! Our longtime Dental Assistant of 6 years is moving onto her career in Dental Hygiene, and we are looking for a new team member in the next few months.

While some dental or orthodontic experience is preferred we prioritize having the right attitude, energy and heart - and we're willing to train the right person for the position.

DA or RDA applicants must have a current DA or RDA license. For the Clinical Assistant position - a DA or RDA license is not required as we'll be training you with basic clinical procedures such as seating patients, preparing trays, cleaning chairs, sterile, retainer fabrication etc - for the right candidate after 1 year of experience with our office, we'll cover the expenses to get you credentialed with x-ray and infection control certifications to obtain your DA certification.

The bottom line: We are a family-owned orthodontics practice focused on providing excellent care for our patients in a fun, warm & comfortable environment. We're seeking the right individual for a long-term position (we also encourage pre-dental or pre-hygiene students who have a minimum of 2 years available to work with our team - to apply), with potential for growth with our practice.

ABOUT OUR TEAM:

Both our team and our patients are like family to us, and our office is known for it's personable, warm and friendly environment. Our patient flow is limited to 4 chairs and our orthodontists work directly with each of our patients ensuring quality control at each appointment. Our priority is to provide excellent compassionate orthodontic care for our patient family.

We prioritize providing excellent customer service, and are seeking a team member who has a passion for people - who truly enjoys interacting with and helping our patients achieve their beautiful smiles.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

You'll also be working both with our Orthodontists & clinical team in the back office with clinical orthodontic work - working on patients, doctor chair-side assisting, photos, x-rays, taking digital scans (iTero), sterilization, clean-up/set-up and fabrication of clear retainers.

DETAILS:

Working hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am - 6 pm, and some Thursdays from 2-6 pm. We work one Saturday per month (on the 3rd Sat of each month) from 8 am - 1:30 pm. (Clinical administrative (non-patient) hours are also available once you're fully trained - to clean, prep and organize the office on non-patient days).
