Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Limb Preservation center is a vascular surgery and podiatry group focused on lower extremity health. We are currently located in Jonesboro, Georgia and will be expanding into additional sites in Atlanta. We are in search of an experienced IR or Cardiology technologist to join our team as a lead tech in our interventional suite. Our case mix is 100% lower extremity interventions. In addition to working closely with our vascular surgeon assisting in cases, the lead tech will be responsible for general interventional lab management and quality assurance. There is no call, nights or weekends required! Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. Full benefit package. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Certified IR or Cardiology technologist

Experience:

• Must have at least one year of experience in an interventional lab performing peripheral vascular procedures.

Skills:

• Demonstrates competence in clinical specialty.
• Understands C-arm fluoroscopy equipment and x-ray safety. 
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a complex situation.
• Independent and reliable with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience with complex peripheral vascular procedures, pedal access, puncture site management, IVUS, Athrectomy is preferred
• Excellent patient interaction skills
