Location: 20 Thurber Blvd, Smithfield, RI 02917
Contract Length: 9-months
Hours:Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Responsible for process and product improvement relative to quality, cost, safety, and efficiency.
- Electrical Engineer needs to be detail-oriented and looking for a career designing and supporting electromechanical, software controlled, medical devices and medical diagnostic instruments.
- Primary focus will be the design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance, and support of electrical and electronic components and systems in support of larger project goals.

- Must possess a background in the design, manufacturing, and sourcing of electrical components.
- The ability to prototype, simulate, debug/troubleshoot, and test circuits is required.
- Knowledge of IEC/UL-60601 and related standards is beneficial.
- Background in FDA, QSR, and ISO regulations: design controls, regulatory approval methods, and overall medical device industry knowledge.
- Must have familiarity with FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA techniques, BOM structuring, test protocol writing, verification testing, quality inspection methodology, and report writing.
- BSEE
- 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience (some exposure to the medical device/equipment
