The Center for Motivation and Change California (CMC:CA) is hiring Master’s and Doctoral-level licensed clinicians (psychologists, social workers, LMFTs) and post-doctoral fellows to join our staff in a full-time or 80% capacity. On the cutting edge for two decades (est. 2003), the Center for Motivation & Change (CMC) is a vibrant group practice of dedicated clinicians and researchers who rely on science and kindness to help people change. We employ respectful, flexible, evidence-based approaches to address substance use and compulsive behavior problems as well as other mental health issues, including anxiety disorders and trauma/PTSD. Through compassion, collaboration, and the best science has to offer, we help teens and adults make life-enhancing and long-lasting changes. 

CMC offers clinicians the opportunity to work in a collaborative, stimulating, and very supportive environment. Clinicians provide primarily individual (adult and adolescent) and group therapy and also have the option to provide couples and family treatment. Clinicians receive training and weekly supervision in cutting edge, evidence-based approaches in the field of addiction and other compulsive behaviors, anxiety disorders, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Clinicians also have the opportunity to train in CRAFT and the Invitation to Change (ITC) approach in order to help support family members and communities surrounding people who struggle with substance use. Weekly team meetings are designed to improve collaboration and provide compassion, support, and ongoing training to clinical staff. Additionally, outside experts provide regular training and opportunities for additional training in areas of interest (e.g. evidence-based trauma treatments, ACT, EXRP).

Work Location: Hybrid Model - Telehealth and in-person flexibility (based on location and demand)

The Center for Motivation and Change provides a salary range to comply with laws on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty and training. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include stipends, bonuses or benefits.

Requirements
