Our family-owned Sonoma Valley Winery is seeking an energetic, motivated individual to work in our tasting room as a Barback/Host. 1-3 days a week.

Our Winery has been selling wine direct to our consumers for the last 35 years. We are a boutique, ultra-premium winery that produces 15,000 cases annually. You cannot find our award-winning wines in any retail stores…only in our tasting room, through our popular wine club or in select bay-area restaurants. Join our fun energetic team and grow with us.

Barback: Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Professional personal presentation.
• Well-rounded organizational skills with proficiency in understanding and executing instructions
• Able to act independently to solve problems as they occur and implement corrective actions
• Maintain high level of attention to detail and professional customer service
• Clean glassware and plates
• Restock wine, merchandise and food
• Active ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
• Clean and sanitize tables after guests leave
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Proficient with POS systems a plus
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings as job requires

Physical Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable mode of transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis.
• Ability to work in a standing position and or walking at a quick pace for long periods of time.
• Ability to effectively stock wine and non-wine merchandise, set-up and break down structures, tables, etc., and be able to utilize dolly cart and other equipment to assist in moving heavy objects.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
