RPG Squarefoot Solutions is Hiring a Technical Services Manager (Printing and Imaging) Near Jessup, MD
Location: Washington DC Metro Area- Mobile Field Position
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of service technicians, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide ongoing training to enhance the team's technical skills.
- Monitor key service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Oversee the efficient scheduling and dispatch of service technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and customer support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Address customer concerns promptly and proactively work to exceed expectations.
- Perform field service calls as needed to maintain hands-on experience.
- Conduct ride-alongs with field technicians to offer technical assistance and coaching.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in printing technologies to ensure the team's preparedness for diverse equipment.
- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership and team management skills.
- Strong technical background with expertise in Wide Format, IT, and Small Format equipment or related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile position efficiently.
- 10-15 years of hands-on experience as a service technician in a relevant field preferred.
- Prior experience as a service manager preferred.
