Green Acres Lawn & Landscaping Corporation is Hiring a Landscape Sales Representative Near Wilmington, DE

We are looking for a competitive and highly motivated person to join our team. Sales will be focused on landscape and hardscape projects for private estates and commercial projects. You will need to use and maintain your strong industry knowledge to develop comprehensive designs to match the Client’s vision and see it through to transition the project to the point of sale. You will be the first point of contact as well as the primary point of contact between the Client and the Company and ensure that the vision is delivered to the Company’s standards by communicating with Operations Managers and Field Managers from the time of sale through project completion. You must be detail oriented and knowledgeable to ensure the quality of work expected and be willing to constantly look for ways to develop and improve processes to scale in this position. Being a critical and fast-thinking person will ensure your success within this position. Being able to deliver these qualities will result in your growing quickly within the Company and will provide for an extremely rewarding career.

  • The Company runs on Aspire business software
  • 2 yrs. with Aspire or similar Estimating CRM Software is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred): While not mandatory, a preferred background in business, marketing, or a related field. A degree in Landscape design, construction management, horticulture, or related fields is also a benefit.
  • Ability to generate designs w/ CAD software and use to assist Clients in visualizing their projects.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within a growing company and keep a sense of urgency for all responsibilities relative to the position.
  • Investigative personality, with a desire to expand his/her knowledge and role within the company and look forward to the challenges that come with this growth.
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and ability to coach others on how to work smart with a focus on quality.
  • Excellent working knowledge of landscape, hardscape & deck construction, and affiliated trades.
  • Effective communication, leadership, negotiating, and organizational skills; Proven experience in sales, leadership, and management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends, offering valuable insights
  • Exceptional at building and supporting strong client relationships, prioritizing service, and satisfaction
  • Growth mindset and desire to lead effective teamwork with the Sales Director and the sales team
  • Proficient in analyzing customer feedback for improving products, services, and overall customer experience
  • This position will report directly to the Vice President and/or Owner.
  • Act as main point of contact between customer and company.
  • Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or services
  • Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met
  • Use of your industry knowledge and experience to help guide customers to the best right decision for their property
  • Generate proposals for new Construction and Enhancement Opportunities found on properties.
  • Follow up with leads and proposals, develop a relationship with the client, close sales, and gain more leads.
  • Prepare project briefs for Operations Managers and Field Managers, as relevant to aid in successful project production.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and communicate with Administrators to coordinate sales & operational activities.
  • Analyze efficiencies and provide feedback about accuracy of estimating relating to direct costs and production efficiencies.
  • Interact and communicate daily with Clients and Management
  • Promptly and creatively resolve Client issues to provide a positive customer experience, uphold the Company’s reputation, and produce a win-win result for all parties.
