As a Junior Landscape Designer, your responsibilities will include assisting the design team in creating stunning and functional landscape designs, conducting site visits and assessments, preparing drawings and plans, and collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements. You will also have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and creativity to projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong passion for landscape design and horticulture, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. A degree or certification in landscape design or a related field is required. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to learn.

This job provides an opportunity to:

Responsibilities

  • Aid fellow designers in implementing our exclusive design techniques and sales strategies
  • Help address customer queries effectively
  • Collaborate with designers and field managers to guarantee timely delivery of all necessary materials
  • Recognize and elevate any issues related to customer satisfaction or production through the proper channels
  • Strive for constant enhancement of processes and services to boost both customer and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a 2-year degree or professional certificate in landscape design or a related design-build field
  • Skilled in landscape CAD design, with proficiency in Land FX considered advantageous
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Proficiency in SketchUp preferred
  • A minimum of one year's experience in professional roles related to design, construction assistance, or outdoor installations is preferred
  • Excellent in-person and virtual communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability for proactive learning and taking initiative
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail even in a fast-paced environment
  • Competent in managing procedures without supervision
