Job Overview:
Located in south Reno, we manufacture custom wire harness assemblies for OEMs across US. We are currently hiring for a FULL-TIME Wire and Cable Cutting Specialist. No experience is necessary. Entry-level positions start at 16.00/hour and include on-the-job training.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wire and Cable Cutting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the tasks listed below.

Responsibilities:
- Operates wire and cable automated cutting equipment to cut, mark, coil, label, and package wires and cables of various lengths for production.

-Uses scissors, wire cutters, hot knife, and other hand tools to accurately cut wire, cable, sleeving, heat shrink, loom, and other length

-Conducts routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

-Reports all discrepancies and/or non-conformities to the Stockroom Supervisor.

-Uses barcode readers to record stockroom transactions.

-Ensures correct items and correct quantities are properly packaged, identified, and stored in a size-appropriate bin.

-Maintains orderliness of his/her working area (cleanliness and organization).

-Strives for continuous improvement and implementing lean methodologies - minimizing waste (time, materials, supplies, etc.) and maximizing output (accuracy and productivity).

Requirements:

- Proficient in using hand tools for cable installation and termination
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
