Purpose of Role
Daemen University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Men's/Women's Tennis Graduate Assistant for the 2024-25 academic year. Daemen is a member of the East Coast Conference (ECC). The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver for up to 18 graduate credits for the 2024-25 academic year. The applicant will be responsible for the cost of any fees associated with the program. This position is renewable for the next academic year conditional upon satisfactory performance, availability of funds and adherence to all Daemen University academic requirements and employment protocols.
About This Opportunity
Joining our Athletics team, the Graduate Assistant - Men's/Women's Tennis will be responsible for the following:

• The Graduate Assistant will serve as the assistant to the Head Men's/Women's Tennis Coach or Coaches
• The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating and assisting the head coach with academic, administrative, coaching and recruiting duties. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and must be willing to assist with team travel.
• Required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the academic school year based on the credit hours attempted.
• Other duties as designated by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.

Required Qualifications

• Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and be fully admitted into one of Daemen's graduate programs.
• Candidates should have playing experience at the NCAA Division I, II or III levels.
• Good character & communication skills, self-motivated, and leadership skills are preferred.
