Job Summary: Creates, manages, and executes all the stages of the recruitment process. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Essential Functions:

The specific responsibilities of the position shall include, but not limited to:

  • Partners with hiring manager and staffing coordinators to determine staffing needs.
  • Screens resumes and job applications, conducts screening interviews of candidates by phone or in person, administers appropriate assessments, schedules interviews to be conducted by hiring manager and other staff, checks references and makes recommendation for hire and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
  • Serves as an expert in recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, job fairs, community network events, online platforms, social media etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Builds and maintains a strong candidate pipeline for current and future job openings.
  • Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Utilizes Paycom’s applicant tracking system to manage candidate’s progress and activity.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process and status.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Uses personal computer workstations to input data accurately.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Scan and edit resumes accurately and efficiently.
  • Prescreens candidates to determine the most qualified and promising candidates according to minimum and preferred qualifications.
  • Processes form letters generated by the applicant tracking system.
  • Contact candidates who submit incomplete applications.

    Education and Experience:

  • Two years of recruiting experience or related HR work experience required.

  • High School Diploma, or GED or related field preferred.

  • Valid health certificate to meet requirements for the jurisdiction(s) in which the incumbent works required.
