As a Thin Film Equipment Technician, you will perform complex electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance duties on semiconductor fabrication equipment in a clean room environment. The technician will also be involved and supporting trouble shooting, maintaining, and improving CVD equipment, components, and assemblies. Will assist with all tasks related and assigned to the equipment group. Candidate displays teamwork and 'can do' attitude as well as positive outlook under high pressure.
The salary range for this role is $23.33 to $33.83 with a typical starting rate of $26.00 per hour. The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications.
The role is usually designated for a compressed work week schedule of 12-hour day or night shifts, where the employee works for 3 days one week and 4 days the following week, and is required to work 100% on-site.
Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all CVD tools. Additional projects as assigned by manager.
• Work with counterparts within engineering department and other department to meet quality and manufacturing goals.
• Repair equipment according to schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures. Utilize equipment performance indices to identify issues and take appropriate actions.

Requirements:

• Tool Maintenance / troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Explorer, and Excel.
• Must be self-motivated and have ability to multi-task in high-paced/high stress situations.
• Need strong attention to detail and able to work independently with minimum instruction.
• Able to quickly learn on the job and actively seeks out opportunities to expand knowledge.
• Familiar with use of electronic test equipment and hand tools
• Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Must be flexible to work any shift of compressed 12-hour shift structure.
• Perform complex electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
