North American Family Institute (NAFI), a national non-profit human services agency, is seeking full-time clinicians for the delivery of an evidenced based model, Functional Family Therapy – Foster Care (FFT-FC), to youth and their foster families/permanency families who live in Polk, Hardee and Highlands County, Florida. FFT is a community-based program, working with youth and families involved with the Florida Department of Children and Families.
The position consists of providing in-home intensive family therapy to foster families and permanency families during non-traditional work hours. All applicants must have a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy—or a related human service field, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with adolescents. Applicants must be eligible to work with children and adolescents by completing a series of background checks and abuse screenings.
This position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening hours, as needed. Computer experience, data input, and familiarity with electronic health records is also required. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
