Prosper Communities, a division of Prosper Capital and apartment property management company throughout the Cincinnati tri-state, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee all repairs, and upkeep operations of the company’s properties located at multiple sites throughout the Cincinnati tri-state area.

A great Maintenance Technician will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.

A day for you would include being assigned a schedule of work orders, going onsite to each facility to address and complete each work order and working with your Maintenance Supervisor to ensure everything was completed timely and assist the team with other needs throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to undertake administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the residence living area.

This challenging opportunity includes:

• Completing work orders and performing preventative maintenance for multiple buildings
• Ordering maintenance supplies as needed
• Providing customer service to residents and attending call-back work orders
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm plus on-call duties on weekends

You offer the following minimum requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in residential apartment make ready
• Leadership and time management skills
• Basic computer or smartphone skills
• Good maintenance knowledge: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Appliance Repair, Apartment Turnovers, Grounds, Pool Care, Lighting, etc.
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• Drug and background check
