Job Summary
The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate the implementation of manufacturing process into an industrial plant.The Process Engineer works to develop molding processes by utilizing their knowledge ofproduct design, materials, tooling and equipment capabilities, and quality control standards. They create plans that optimize work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow. The AME uses product requirements to create specifications for process, tooling, end of arm tooling, and molding equipment and then works with vendors to procure, install and implement into the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
Provide direct input to the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) by doing the following:
Develop the Process Team intheir skills and knowledge of proper processing techniques, including SPC tools, team-oriented problem-solving Techniques, etc.
Provides support on new product launch tooling, providing themanufacturing input for development of new process and improvements to existing processes and tooling.
Provide leadership within the Process Team and take a personal, active role in the efforts to meet our operational targets in scrap, RFT (Right First Time), PPM, etc.
Facilitate the implementation of production equipment/tooling into the manufacturing facility and any corresponding technical training.
Assess the product, process, equipment and tooling strategies for potential ergonomic concerns and manage action items to resolve.
Responsible for injection molding related continuous improvement (e.g. cycle times, scrap, quality, material cost reduction, regrind implementation, etc.)

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors of Science Degree in or Engineering Technology or equivalent 10 years of experience.
Requirements

Experience in Automotive/Manufacturing (Tier One Automotiveinteriors experience preferred)
Candidates must demonstrate solid skills incommunication, interpersonal relations, and ability to inspire individuals to improve performance.
Mechanical aptitude and analytical problem solving
5 years of experience in process engineering, tooling, or similar
DOE and data driven studies experience
Six Sigma, Lean, Continuous Improvement training or experience
Candidates must demonstrate technical and project managementskills
Familiar with entire product life including development, launch and production.
Understands and demonstrates ability to work with and improve documented manufacturing standards.
