Part I -- Description of Position
The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that production meets Employee Safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards set by Westrock, the food industry (BRC), and Government agencies. The incumbent in this role will communicate what is expected and will monitor machine and employee performance with continuous improvement. The Production Manager will report to the Plant Manager. This manager will have production supervisors as direct reports on an assigned shift.

Principal Job Duties:
Part II -- Knowledge and Background Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications: Will not hire someone unless they have this skillset
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum of 10 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
· Minimum of 5 years experience managing a team in a Manufacturing environment
· Ability to run multiple types of machinery proficiently
Preferred Qualifications: Specialized Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
· Associate degree in Management or Business
· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, including speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction.
· Good leadership and training skills
· Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs.
· Advanced knowledge of following specifications and manuals
· Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Part III – Physical/Mental Requirements
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
· This position is in a warehouse environment and will include exposure to loud noises, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.
· Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shifts, including weekends if needed.
· Ability to lift, push, pull, and slide packages that typically weight up to 30 lbs.
· Repetitive lifting, bending, and twisting
· Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or touch object or controls.
· Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
· Ability to work all shifts, prolonged period working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive action that entail frequent movements.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
