JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Operations Manager to lead our team of Sales Operations Specialists. This role is crucial for driving operational efficiency, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, finance, and operations. The Sales Operations Manager will also focus on training and developing the operations team to maintain a high standard of customer service and operational excellence. This position is full time, Monday through Friday in our Murray office.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Operations Specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Oversee and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the sales process.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales operations.

  • Back up team on managing quotes, taking sales orders, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving customer concerns.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent; associate degree or bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in a sales operation's role, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Business Central or similar ERP/CRM systems.
  • Strong background in sales operations and extensive experience working with distributors and manufacturers preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for improving business processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently to find solutions.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
