Business Developer - Commercial Construction Services

Location: Atlanta

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and connected Business Developer to expand our presence in the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a robust network within the construction industry and a strong track record in business development, particularly in commercial projects. Familiarity with logistical support services, including dumpster rental, is highly desirable as it is integral to construction project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to grow our dumpster rental business within the commercial construction industry.
• Leverage existing networks to generate new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure service delivery aligns with client needs and project timelines, including the provision of essential services such as dumpster rentals.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.
• Attend industry events and conferences to maintain and expand professional networks.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals that contribute to business growth and profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development within the construction or related industry.
• Familiarity with the operational and logistical requirements of construction projects, including dumpster rental.
• Strong networking skills with a demonstrable track record of building relationships within the construction sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a business development role within the construction industry.

Salary: Competitive; to be determined based on experience.r!

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
