Summary

Perform a variety of duties to support the credit and loan operation; coordinate work within the department as well with other departments; interacting with and communicating information to credit management, commercial banking staff, accounting department and loan review; complying with operating policies and procedures established for loan operations.

Essential Functions

• Process all loan advances, payments, pay-offs, fee waivers, and reversals.
• Process daily transactions using the digital teller scanner; maintain record retention of items.
• Responsible for posting payments, advances and balancing participation accounts.
• Set up AFT and ACH requests.
• Responsible for phone/email inquiries and pay-off quotes. 
• Responsible for daily maintenance on loans such as closing out lines of credit.
• Review and maintain daily billing statements.
• Responsible for trouble-shooting loan history discrepancies and effectively escalating to management as necessary.
• Responsible for processing written credit verifications.
• Back-up and assist processing paid-outs.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of banking experience; prior experience in loan account servicing preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with posting payments and advances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft programs, Adobe, and browser based applications).
