True World Foods Detroit LLC is Hiring a Sales Account Representative (Chinese Speaking Preferred) Near Livonia, MI

Develop and maintain existing customer base for increased sales. Maintains expected margins on sales. Prospects for new business. Communicates regularly with customers. Chinese speaking preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Communicates on a regular basis under the direction of sales and purchase director to achieve sales goals

2. Communicates to customer base on a regular basis including visitation to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales/profit goals.

3. React timely to customer problems and needs.

4. Taking customer orders with goals in mind: sales and Gross Profit $ maximization.

5. Follows up on new prospects with introduction materials and visitation including completed credit application. Maintains a minimum number of active prospects.

6. Cooperates with team members. Works with department supervisors to reduce mistakes.

7. Review daily out of stocks, shortages, transportations issues and implement solutions quickly.

8. Attends periodic training to improve sales skills and knowledge, attends regular sales meetings.

9. Implement” Ask Early and Often” to control days sales outstanding (DSOs). Be aware of account financial health. Make management aware of potential issues or concerns.

10. Participate and coordinate communication between customer and A/R dept.

11. Follows Food Safety (HACCP) requirements to ensure product safety and quality.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Approach to building relationships with customers/stakeholders.

Customer pricing. (Within pricing guidelines)

Self-motivation.

Sales strategy.

Customer pricing. (Outside of pricing guidelines)

Authorizing credits and returns.

Managerial or Supervisory Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications

Prior Experience: 1 years food industry experienced in sales or sushi chef experience.

Education or Training: High School diploma

Licenses, Certifications: Clean driving record, Food Safety Training.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of all product lines.

Consultative sales ability.

Must be self –motivated and accountable for time management without constant supervisor direction.

Exhibit strong customer relations skills and a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.

Skill in use of an office computer and record keeping. Familiar with navigating Seasoft.

Ability to communicate in a professional manner with outside parties, management and employees on the team

Physical demands of the work

Must be able to walk, lift objects up to 30lbs, sit at a desk, climb and handle equipment

Must be a safe driver. Hands free communication while driving.

Equipment used in the work environment

Standard office equipment such as PCs, monitors, smart phones, printers/faxes.

Sales vehicle is provided by TWF Detroit.

Work Environmental Conditions

Most of the time is spent on the road and meeting customers. Some time is spent in office environment.

Large portion of time is driving, taking orders. Minimal time in production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
