VELOX is Hiring a Fiber Splicer I Near Birmingham, AL

Fiber Tech is responsible for terminating and testing fiber optic networks, including aerial, underground, and ISP networks, according to engineered drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and splicing all cables, enclosures, and racks.
  • OTDR testing, power meter, and identifying and labeling cables and terms.
  • Providing and updating ongoing project tracking information and production sheets.
  • They are also responsible for placing fiber through conduits according to engineering drawings.
