Description

A Warehouse Picker/Packer is responsible for assisting with picking, scanning and packing orders.

Picker/Packer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Know which box goes with each order, type of order, and item to be packed.

• Pack all shipments with attention to presentation for the recipient. 

• Enclose all literature and affix stickers and can tops with accurate placement.

• Initial each order that is complete to verify the order.

• Place correct label on the box to ensure everything is correct.

• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

• Make sure the product is not damaged.

• Ship units according to the requirements of the order.

• Perform detailed tasks with minimal errors.

• Verify that all items are correct with the order sheet.

• Able to train upon request.

• Meet standards set by management with accuracy, presentation, and efficiency. 

• Work with the Distribution Manager to maintain flow, and inventory/lot control. 

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Requirements

• 40 hours a week, evening and weekend hours will most likely be necessary during the peak holiday season (November- December).

Shift and Compensation:

• Full time position

• Pay rate $12-13/hr

• Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 8AM- 4:30PM with an hour lunch.

• Total hours per week may vary during off season.
