Utility Construction Company, Inc., an Arizona General/Federal Contractor, is seeking hard-working and dedicated people to join our team to work on construction crews. We take pride in our staff and look forward to growing the team. We are currently looking for an experienced Boring Operator.

Requirements:

• Set up, operate, or tend drilling machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink
• Knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making to ensure safety
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Ability to locate underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Knowledge and experience in operating the equipment required to build including excavators, digger derricks, arial lifts, pressure augurs, etc.
• Ability to pass pre-employment process.
• Ability to work safely and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Current IMSA Certification a plus or Roadway Lighting equivalent
