Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will work closely with patients to assess their nutritional needs and develop personalized diet plans to promote health and well-being. Your expertise in dietetics and patient assessment will be crucial in providing exceptional care and guidance to our patients.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and goals
- Develop individualized diet plans based on patient's medical condition, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences
- Educate patients on proper nutrition, portion control, and healthy eating habits
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to diet plans as needed
- Provide guidance on tube feeding, if necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology to understand the impact of various nutrients on the body
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or imbalances
- Offer health coaching to motivate patients in achieving their dietary goals
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience working as a Dietitian in a clinical setting is highly desirable
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing personalized diet plans
- Knowledge of tube feeding techniques and protocols
- Strong understanding of physiology and its relationship to nutrition
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide effective health coaching to patients
