The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for the development, monitoring and maintenance of behavior analytic programming for an assigned student caseload. The BCBA will assess, design, implement and train staff on all aspects of behavior analytic needs and supports within each student program and, as an interdisciplinary team member, collaborate with and train staff in evidence-based behavior analytic practices. With guidance from the Program Director, the BCBA will participate in a leadership role within the BCBA supervision program, and on-boarding and training program for staff.

• RBT/BCBA supervision by an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and maintain behavior intervention and treatment plans, and provide feedback on goals, measurement systems, interventions, and overall priorities of the treatment program.
• Meet with the JECC Program Director and Clinical Coordinator to advise and collaborate on intervention strategies.
• Meet with Behavior Technicians to oversee implementation and progress on all behavioral programming, practices, goals and objectives.
• Conduct regular and periodic data analysis to ensure appropriate treatment, identify needs and update interventions, and provide program implementation feedback and coaching.
• Perform weekly program walkthroughs and reviews to ensure fidelity and collect interobserver agreement data.
• Meet with the Clinical Coordinator to review walkthroughs, progress, observations, training topics, individual and family needs.
• Attend and deliver behavior skills training for students on your caseload.
• Observe new potential students and lead the initial and ongoing behavioral assessment process.
• Remain up-to-date on research.
• Create and deliver trainings for the purpose of staff development or family training as requested by the Program Director.
• Supervise staff who are in behavior certification programs, at the direction of the Clinical Coordinator.
• Manage and train staff on physical intervention and physical safety through an approved practice, as designated by the Clinical Coordinator and the JECC Program Director.
• Review incident reports and participate on an ethics committee to review incident and restraint policies and procedures.
• Maintain student records related to ITP, behavior intervention plans, and family/team communication.
• Communicate with families to discuss progress, generalization, and any other concerns.
• Coach program staff as needed on how to communicate effectively, efficiently, with our philosophies at the forefront of communication, and with observable language.
• Oversee each clients' Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) or Individual Educational Plan (IEP) progress to ensure that it meets the requirements of its funding source.
• Collaborate with Joshua Academy as directed by the JECC Program Director on any identified needs.
• Utilize the practice management system (Central Reach) to accurately document services rendered. This includes making appointments and summarizing each session.
• Keep track and maximize hours for various services as insurance authorized for each child on caseload.
• With Clinical Coordinator and Early Childhood Coordinator's support, manage insurance authorizations including submitting new ITPs prior to authorization expiration and/or conducting live clinical reviews if needed.
• Oversee weekly lesson planning and ensure materials are prepared each day.
• Create, manage, supervise, and revise student and staff schedules.
• Manage and oversee classroom budget.
• Develop substitute plans for staff absences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
• A commitment to working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• A master's degree in education, Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, or related field.
• 4 or more year's certification as a BCBA and in good standing with the BACB is preferred.
• 4 or more years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Maturity and reliability.
• Good driving record and valid driver's License.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. The Lead Behavior Therapist will write business correspondence and will effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Math Ability:
The Lead Behavior Therapist will work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Certificates and Licenses:
Certification as a BCBA and in good standing with the BACB is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in behavior analytic graduate certification programs and oversees staff implementing behavior analytic programming. With guidance from the Program Director, will participate in a leadership role within the BCBA supervision program, and on-boarding and training program for staff.
Computer/Technical Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft
Office Suite software, Google Suite software and knowledge of data collection platform software.

Salary: $56,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
