Per Diem DAY shift (6 am-2:30 pm or 7 am-3:30 pm). Per Diem requirements - work TWO shifts per month: ONE weekend shift and ONE weekday shift ONE summer and ONE winter holiday per year.

Pay is commensurate with post-license experience level and licensure type (LPN or RN). Generous extra pay for weekend and holiday shifts

Responsibilities

LPNs/RNs are members of a self-directed team and are responsible for providing exceptional care, supporting leisure, maintaining a safe and clean home, and providing meal and laundry support for those who live in the home. As a nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our elders are living according to their desires.

Qualifications

• Current NYS LPN/RN license
• Current NYS CPR certification
• Minimum of TWO YEARS of hands-on nursing experience as LPN or RN, preferably in long term care
• Previous experience with elder care required
• Leadership, organizational, and communication skills required
• Required to attend full 3-day classroom orientation (8:00 am-4:00 pm)
• Must have required immunizations in compliance with the NYS Department of Health

Physical Requirements

Stands, sits, and walks most of the day. Frequent moving and ability to lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform activities as defined in skills check list.

May be exposed to infectious diseases, odors and psycho-behavioral situations
