• The UX Design Lead will lead research that results in deep empathy for the solution users and stakeholders through a range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods appropriate to the appropriate stages of the product life cycle and situations.
• The UX Design Lead will lead design activities which produce artifacts that result in development teams understanding of product requirements and ensure that design specifications will produce results that meet users and stakeholders needs and goals.
• The UX Design Lead partners with the business programs which are designing form templates and interpreting the data collection requirements of legislation to ensure that data collection is limited to the minimum necessary to accomplish legislative requirements and OKR.
• Advises the OKR drafting and planning teams.
• Advises Product Owner on design alignment with business programs' needs/intentions. Assists with OKR articulation during drafting and may writes acceptance criteria/user stories, as needed.
• Reports to Lead Product Manager.

• Stakeholder engagement/communication skills necessary to help explain value and need of what theyll be doing to a variety of stakeholder types (including executives, clerical/analytical staff, data research specialists, etc.)
