The Garden Wholesale is Hiring a Production Floor Supervisor Near Jacksonville, FL
Job Description:
- Providing the highest level of service to both internal and external customers.
- Monitor and adjust processes and utilization of production staff in order to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Analyze results and collaborate with the Senior Supervisor to identify and implement process improvements.
- Understand all relevant regulatory requirements, ensure all production processes maintain compliance, and communicate safety and regulatory compliance practices to production staff both directly and through area leads.
- Work closely with supervisors to complete the day to day supervision and completion of the production day.
- Project a positive, can-do attitude that ensures support for company's mission.
- Ensuring that all standards and expectations are met.
- Responsible for maintaining relations and oversee needs of order pullers and train as necessary.
- Ensure all specific customer requests or concerns are communicated.
- Provides input to senior management to improve overall operations and productivity.
- Completes necessary reports related to assigned duties.
- Directs the flow of work, observes performances, and resolves difficulties.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- One year of experience in a supervisor or management position.
- Two years of production experience.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required.
- Certification or training in HACCP, USDA/FDA regulations, and SQF.
