Job Title: Product Development & Production Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Overview:

Soludos is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Development & Production Manager to join our team. Working with the Head of Product, this role is crucial in bringing our creative visions to life, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of quality and style.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to oversee and manage the entire product development process from concept to production.
• Coordinate with designers to transform initial sketches and concepts into tangible products, aligning with the brand’s vision and market trends.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including keeping track of development cycles, placing Purchase Orders (POs), and ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Oversee the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the desired quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met for sample and bulk production.
• Coordinate operational/logistical product needs through delivery, including SKU/UPC generation and management, coordination with warehouse and freight partners, etc. to ensure products land fully on time, undamaged, and cost effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends, production techniques, and materials to continuously improve product offerings and production efficiency.
• Handle logistical aspects of product development, including shipping and receiving of product samples, coordinating sample review sessions, and keeping all product samples well-organized and labeled in the office.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product development and/or production in an industry that deals with physical products (preferably footwear or apparel).
• Strong understanding of development and production processes.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and entrepreneurial problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
