The Bassett Firm, a fast-paced civil defense litigation firm in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas, is seeking a receptionist to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a support role in an office setting, type 45 wpm, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $13.46-$15.38 hourly ($28k-$32k), M-F, 8-5, Fully Onsite

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Answer and screen all incoming calls and visitors in a professional manner.
• Process all correspondence: U.S. Mail, Courier, Postage, CMRRR, FedEx, Faxes, PIA’s, E-files, and Hand Deliveries.
• Process attorney inboxes and outboxes.
• Log all packages and gifts & send out thank you notes.
• Send greeting cards and gifts.
• Set up conference rooms for all Mediations, Depositions, and Meetings.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, and personal events for partners.
• Coordinate Thursday Morning breakfast.
• Send daily rosters & assignment sheets.
• Coordinate new hire welcomes and employee departures.
• Ensure the reception area, conference room, and kitchen are neat, organized, and always ready for visitors.
• Bake Cookies and arrange meals.
• Manage the Rapid Response Calendar and AT&T assignments.
• Provide backup coverage for the Office Administrative Assistant.
• Provide overflow assistance to the Scheduler.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to follow procedures and guidelines

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
