The N2 Company Home Office is Hiring a Remote Junior SEO Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a love for helping small businesses grow? Do you have strong analytical and communication skills to aid you in problem-solving? We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who’ll join our team in helping businesses succeed online. 

As our Junior SEO Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in helping clients optimize their websites and increase organic search visibility. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including the SEO Specialist and SEO Content Writer, you’ll ensure clients’ websites are fully optimized, adhere to SEO best practices, and drive organic traffic growth.

Hyport Digital, a leader in digital advertising and marketing services, is seeking a full-time, remote Junior SEO Specialist to help clients increase their organic search visibility. Hyport Digital helps businesses of all sizes grow their online presence and improve conversions through tailored digital marketing strategies. Interviews for this opening will be conducted over the phone and via video calls. As a reminder, this role will be fully remote.The starting salary for this position is $48,000 annually.

In a Typical Day, You’ll:

  • Create and optimize SEO strategies. You’ll create initial SEO campaign strategies and continue to optimize them each month. This includes identifying a client's goals, conducting keyword research, analyzing competitors and the industry, outlining onsite work for the month, and helping to identify opportunities for improvement to benefit the overall SEO campaign. 
  • Review and optimize content You’ll review and proof-read monthly onsite copy to identify opportunities for improvement to support SEO goals. This includes reviewing for proper use of keywords, links, headings, and titles, and identifying opportunities for new content that can drive traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Conduct on-page optimization review. You’ll review all implemented on-page SEO tactics, including optimized website content, meta tags, headers, images, call-to-actions, and design elements to improve search engine rankings. This involves ensuring all website elements are aligned with SEO best practices and the selected keywords, as well as user-experience best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and research. You’ll keep up to date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices to continuously improve your SEO knowledge and skills through independent learning and professional development. 
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance.  You’ll regularly analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms, to ensure campaign performance. This involves tracking rankings, traffic, engagement metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies and make data-driven decisions. 

To Land This Gig, You Need:

  • An understanding of SEO tactics, an effective process to create campaign goals that align with a business's objectives, and the ability to outline actionable steps to achieve them, General knowledge of SEO concepts, best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • To work both independently and collaboratively to manage multiple projects, clients, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Positive energy and a positive attitude.

It’s Not Required, But We’d Love It If You Also Have:

  • Proven experience and success as an SEO Strategist, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in keyword research and analysis.
  • A strong understanding of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, SERanking, etc.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.
  • Experience in digital content writing as it relates to SEO.
