Attends to visitors and addresses inquiries on the phone and face to face. Provides information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Check In, to include verifying patient demographics, collecting co-pays, deductibles, co insurance
• Mail new patient packets
• Confirm appointments
• Assist with new patient referrals
• Schedule appointments
• Request medical records, as applicable
• Verify insurance for add-ons
• Scan in daily collections sheets
• Perform Medical Assistant duties as applicable
• Travel to other locations as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2 years E Clinical experience
• high school diploma or equivalent
• Min 2 years insurance verification experience
• Min 2 years front office experience in a medical practice
• Valid Texas drivers license, in good standing
• Must have be a covered driver on vehicle insurance
