Smallcakes East Cobb is Hiring a Front Counter Sales Near Marietta, GA
Smallcakes East Cobb in Marietta, GA is looking for one front counter sales to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 4475 Roswell Road Suite 1550. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Shifts will be daytime shifts but flexibility to work the occasional night and weekend is required.
Responsibilities
- Providing premier customer service, including greeting them enthusiastically and responding to questions
- Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
- Taking and filling special orders for customers
- Icing/Decorating Cupcakes
- Ability to utilize a credit card machine, handle cash and a cash register to check out customer orders
- Finishing products such as filling or icing cupcakes, cakes, ice cream and cookies
- Packaging, labeling and pricing products for self-service
- Maintaining and filling bakery trays, display cases and ingredient bins
- Unloading, organizing and restocking supplies
- Following sanitation and safety guidelines
- Assisting in cleaning duties
- Ensuring the storefront maintains a clean polished look
- Assisting in other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
- Able to interpret, understand and follow instructions
- Experience with customer service
- Able to work well with others as a team member
- Previous work experience in a restaurant setting
- Exhibit a passion for serving people
