SF Research Institute Inc. is Hiring a Clinical Research Administrative Assistant/Phlebotomist Near San Francisco, CA

Research experience is a plus

NOT a remote position. Must be able work on site.

*Position Overview:*

The administrative staff is the go-between for management, staff members, study participants, vendors, consultants, partnerships and other outside organizations. They play a large role in supporting the daily operations. Besides support, the administrative staff may be trained for and asked to perform specific duties during studies.

The successful candidate must have an ability to attend to details, follow standard operating procedures and office management protocols, have excellent organizational skills and an above average ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team, clients and partners.

An ideal candidate will have office administration or management experience and should have a good idea of office system, management, processes and procedures. Be technically savvy and know OneDrive. Be well versed to maintain social media, digital marketing and websites. The candidate should be skilled and fluent in English communication and writing and should have excellent computer skills. Experience with Good Clinical Practices is a plus.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Assist in General Administration and Research Operations. Duties will constantly fluctuate so ability to multi-task while keeping a positive attitude is key. Maintain all Administrative and Operational files. Monitor all main Info emails and phone lines and transfer to appropriate team member or handle inquiry yourself. Attend and log in all incoming visitors. Responsible for all incoming deliveries and handle accordingly. Assist Research with the preparation of Study Documents, Binders and Materials (includes printing, making copies, assembling). Assist with phone calls to Study Participants (for re-tests, product returns, study reminders etc.). Handle outgoing shipments and documents (complete necessary internal paperwork and documentation; pack boxes to prevent damage; make arrangements with appropriate shippers). Maintain general supplies and inventory for all Departments. Handle office supply requests from all Departments.

* Communicate with key personnel to facilitate office functions as well as clinical operations.

* Maintain knowledge of current studies in order to assist where necessary.

* Facilities maintenance, responsible for keeping a clean and friendly working environment.

* Maintaining company’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and our recruitment website

* Archiving and record storage responsibilities

* Consultant and vendor responsibilities

* Bookkeeping and QuickBooks knowledge is a plus. Will assist with expense tracking, study budgeting and project quoting.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from study participants.

Administer vaccines following proper protocols and procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and patient information.

Assist with clinical research activities including participant recruitment, data collection, and study coordination.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and study protocols.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve research goals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a phlebotomy or medical assistant program.

Proven experience as a phlebotomist or medical assistant in a clinical setting.

Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.

Prior experience administering vaccines is required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Certification as a phlebotomist or medical assistant is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per month
