Senior Haven Residential Care Facility is Hiring a Dietary Aide Near Portland, OR

Dietary Aide:

$16-18/hr

Senior Haven is seeking a full time Dietary Aide to join our team! In this position, you will assist the culinary team with a variety of tasks. Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills are a must.

Must have weekend availability.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Dishwashing; must wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
  • Sanitize work areas and equipment, take out trash.
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our staff.
  • Assist in any other dishwashing/kitchen aide work as needed to support the team.
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • This position demands good physical and mental health.
  • The dietary aide will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Must be able to move continuously during work hours and lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds.
  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime as needed.
  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in a restaurant kitchen as a dishwasher or dietary aide.
  • Exemplify and be an influential team player.
  • Possess good time management and organizational skills.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
