Salt Lake City Marriott University Park is a beautiful hotel near the University of Utah with gorgeous mountain and city views, modern amenities and an excellent location adjacent to Rice-Eccles Stadium, our hotel provides smart, stylish lodging for business and leisure travelers visiting the Salt Lake City area.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual for the position of General Manager for our StepStone Hospitality managed Hotel. The General Manager is responsible for all operational aspects of the hotel. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. Must have a strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies. The ideal candidate is a full serviced hotel experienced professional with outstanding leadership skills and extensive hands-on experience. 

Requirements

• 5 years General Manager experience in a branded hotel environment (preferably Marriott).
• Prepares monthly financial reporting for ownership and stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain transparency and forge strong owner/asset management relationships; manage under scrutiny from multiple parties
• Revenue management centric and the ability to analyze trends and data to effectively contribute to the revenue management team efforts and strategies 
• Renovation, property re-concepting experience - ability to be a "fixer" and elevate hotel operational and service culture to higher standards 
• Successful track record in driving GSS scores/TripAdvisor Ranking

Physical Requirements:· 

· Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

· Hearing, writing, typing.

· Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.

· Other duties may be assigned.
