Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: 677 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060, USA
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Contract Duration: 30 Weeks Contract
Pay Rate: $30/Hour
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our medical equipment and instruments. Your attention to detail and knowledge of sterile processing techniques will contribute to the overall quality of patient care.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparing medical equipment and instruments for decontamination
- Operating equipment to clean, disinfect and decontaminate surgical instruments, medical devices and equipment
- Inspecting instruments and equipment for signs of damage and wear and tear
- Unpacking, checking and stocking new equipment, instruments and devices
- Delivering equipment and supplies to all areas of the facility
- Responding to emergency supply requests during surgical procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of when items undergo sterilization
- Monitoring temperature and humidity conditions within storage areas
Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Sterile processing experience
- Certification in sterile processing
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
- Sterile processing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- CSPDT (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Marietta, GA 30008 (Required)
