River City Security and Investigations, llc is Hiring an Armed Security Officer Near Orleans, LA
Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and reliable Security Officer looking for a new and exciting experience? River City Security & Investigations is currently seeking skilled armed security officers to join our team at a great new location.
Responsibilities include:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, and provide assistance and guidance when needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity
- Conduct regular checks of equipment, such as CCTV cameras, to ensure proper functioning
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields is a plus
- MUST POSSESS AN UN_TO DATE ARMED LICENSE THROUGH THE LOUISIANA STATE BOARD OF PRIVATE SECURITY EXAMINERS.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST AND CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK.
- Two years' proven experience as an armed security officer
- Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong conflict management/ de-escalation skills. Must be willing and able to physically intervene in situations if necessary.
- Up-to-date CPR/ AED qualification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
