Pickup and Delivery Specialist

Join our growing team! Power Pac is looking for a Pickup and Delivery person who is a self-starter, enjoys the road and has a passion for customer service. This is a full-time position, with hours ranging from 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday – Friday, and the occasional Saturday (we close at 2:30 on Saturdays).

You will be responsible for:

• Picking up and delivering equipment according to customer requests
• Communicating with customers to confirm delivery details, time and address any concerns or issues
• Giving a proper walk around and review of the unit, as needed
• Securing proper signatures on paperwork as needed
• Managing proper maintenance of delivery vehicles, trailers and delivery equipment to include:

o Daily checking of the oil, fuel, brakes, tires, lights and all safety equipment
o Bi-weekly washing and cleaning of outside and inside of vehicle
o Ensuring the required vehicles and trailers are DOT compliant
o Ensuring all straps and other delivery equipment is accounted for and stored daily

• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks to assist with loading and unloading
• Communicating with the Service Manager to ensure delivery schedules are met and issues are addressed immediately
• Organizing and planning routes to make sure schedules and trips are kept as efficient as possible

The right fit for this position will:

• Be an ambassador. You’ll be the face of Power Pac when you are out and about and will typically be one of the last team members that customers will come into contact with after a sale. You’ll make sure customers get their equipment on time and answer any last-minute questions they may have.

• Love the road. You’ll spend a lot of time driving and loading/unloading some pretty cool equipment.

• Be a team player. Communication is always key, so you’ll need to be in constant contact with our experienced service and sales team to make sure equipment makes it where it needs to go on time.

Qualifications for position include:

• Pick-up and delivery experience is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must be able to lift/pull 50 – 100 pounds
• Must be neat, clean and professional looking at all times
• Ability to work well with others
• Possess good communication skills
