Branch Manager
The Branch Manager will assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation which will include management of staff, fostering a positive environment aligned with our core values, ensuring customer satisfaction to ensure a positive customer experience and proper branch operation by executing our strategic objectives, operational excellence, exceptional customer experience and sales production.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of the branch.
  • Maintain and oversee all banking procedures and processes.
  • Manage branch employees and lead day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Supervise branch staff, including coaching, development, and discipline to help meet sales goals, strict adherence to policies and procedures, and to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Lead the onboarding and training process for new employees within the branch.
  • Comply with all bank policies, regulations, and laws applicable to carry out duties and responsibilities.
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Handle internal and external complaints and inquiries promptly.
  • Coordinates communication with branch staff.
  • Maintain a strong, visible, and positive presence in the community through involvement in community events and organizations.
  • Generate new business within branch market for deposit accounts, loans, and cash management.
  • Prepare accurate reports as requested by management.
  • Manage branch accounting and budget information.
  • Oversee financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and other financial groups relating to branch finance.
  • Approve paid time off, create schedules for staff and assure staff hours/staff costs are within established criteria.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results driven and customer focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Fiserv/Cleartouch experience highly preferred.
  • Associate degree and equivalent industry experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Assistant branch management experience required and one or more years as a branch manager highly preferred.
