Next Door Milwaukee is Hiring a CCP (Child Care Partnership) Manager Near Milwaukee, WI

This position is responsible for overall contractual compliance of Child Care Partner programs at Next Door. The CCP Manager will ensure that adequate ongoing monitoring and record-keeping/reporting systems are in place to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. The CCP Manager position also has responsibility for ensuring consistency in the delivery of School Readiness aspects of the program and supervision/oversight of the Instructional Coaches within the partnership.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Provide technical assistance to childcare partner sites regarding contractual implementation.
  • Report any issues of contractual compliance to the CCP Director.
  • Monitor childcare partner compliance with DCF (Department of Children and Families) licensing. Collect licensing compliance/non-compliance statements for record-keeping and monitoring purposes.
  • Monitor implementation of the School Readiness Plan and assist in the preparation of the quarterly School Readiness Report.
  • Monitor implementation of curriculum and assessment tools.
  • Create a system for monitoring the Teaching Strategies Gold web-based system for child assessments and provide reports to the Instructional Coaches and childcare partner directors.
  • Maintain program electronic files related to monitoring and data.
  • Develop a system for monitoring and tracking CCP program files and education portfolios to ensure all required documents are in the files; complete and accurate.
  • Gather and compile statistical information for program reports.
  • Collect all employment documents for partner staff and verify that staff meet all requirements for hire to work in an EHS/HS classroom.
  • Monitor the progress of partner staff on an approved Education Plan to ensure staff are meeting timelines and benchmarks as expected.
  • Monitor background check process to ensure partner sites maintain background checks as required.
  • Conduct CLASS assessments annually in partner programs and maintain reliability in the appropriate tools.
  • Conduct Health and Safety checks quarterly at partner sites.
  • Monitor implementation of Active Supervision at partner sites.
  • Prepare informational materials when needed for the program.
  • Present program data and information to partner agencies, community partners, Board of Directors, parents, funders, or other key stakeholders upon request.
  • Design and deliver trainings in areas of expertise when requested.
  • Provide Reflective Supervision and coaching to Instructional Coaches.
  • Collaborate with other CCP Supervisors to ensure consistency in delivery of services at partner sites as it pertains to contractual requirements.
  • Ensure all confidential program information is protected.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings.
  • Review CCP sites In-Kind forms for accuracy and completion.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new CCP sites administration as it relates to the OHS (Office of Head Start) Program Performance Standards (OHSPPS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job description.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Early Head Start Performance Standards preferred with ability to understand and interpret standards essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population and low-income individuals.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must work well under pressure.
  • Must be self-motivated, energetic, flexible, and diplomatic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and other applications.
  • Familiarity with assessment tracking software a plus.
  • The incumbent must have access to a personal vehicle to use daily, maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance with liability limits of $300,000 (bodily injury) and $25,000 (property damage for each occurrence).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and proficient writing required.

Special Position Requirements

  • Must maintain certification in the CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System).

Preferences

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

  • Variety of work settings including office work, work in childcare centers and classrooms

  • Ability to make frequent, significant decisions to understand and react to the development process of children.
  • Ability to respond quickly and competently to an emergency or crisis to keep children safe
