Nightingale Senior Care is seeking for registered Home Care Aides for part-time hours. Male client in Cerritos is needing help with personal care, companionship care and a caregiver who is comfortable with driving to help run errands (Reliable transportation, VALID driver license).

Day shifts for a few days out of the week for part-time hours only. We are looking for experienced caregivers who live near the Cerritos area or comfortable with commuting to Cerritos for part-time day shifts only.

Job Type: Part-time ( Day shifts )

Pay Rate: $17-20 per hour

Requirements

- Licensed driver with reliable transportation

- HCA registration (Home Care Aid)

- Live Scan (Criminal Background Check)

- TB Test (Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY

- Minimum 2* years* of senior care experience

- Legally permitted to work in the US

- Reliable, dependable, compassionate and friendly

- Knowledge of memory impairment

Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate care to individuals
- Patience and empathy
- Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, Personal Care Assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor physical and mental well-being of our clients
- Mobility assistance and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
