What you will do
As the Parts Marketing Manager for the Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks Aftermarket department, you will be an integral member of the Parts Marketing team supporting our dealers and end consumers with your efforts. You will plan, develop, and implement relevant and engaging marketing initiatives to grow our exciting portfolio of aftermarket parts brands, specifically Road Choice, Mack and Volvo. This role is a unique opportunity to combine marketing, strategy, communications, and data to produce impactful, creative outcomes that strengthen our brands in the marketplace while delivering results aligned with strategic directives.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
STRATEGY
  • Craft a content & communications strategy aligned with the aftermarket’s overall marketing and sales strategies
  • Seek new methods and creative solutions to increase the reach and effectiveness of our marketing initiatives
  • Connect marketing approach with operational business goals, remaining agile with strategic adjustments
CONTENT & COMMUNICATIONS
  • Plan, develop and maintain all forms of marketing content for our parts brands, including but not limited to: print / digital collateral, narratives / campaigns supporting product and brand initiatives, email copy, presentations, surveys, etc.
  • Collaborate frequently and effectively with the Marketing, Product Management, and E-Commerce teams to drive and improve marketing efforts
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship and information exchange with Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks Marketing departments for cross-functional alignment
BRAND MANAGEMENT
  • Ensure all published content conveys the correct brand identity and voice aligned with multiple brand guidelines (Road Choice, Mack, Volvo)
  • Manage Road Choice, Mack, and Volvo digital content and metadata for digital asset library; this includes current and legacy images and videos
  • Serve as the Road Choice Brand Manager: heading global governance and guidance of the Road Choice brand in all communication aspects, being the go-to person for all Road Choice communications, and maintaining all brand identity resources
OTHER
  • Work jointly with and direct various vendor relationships to produce quality work, on-time and within budget
  • Manage and establish all aftermarket trademarks with internal legal team
  • Support and attend aftermarket events and tradeshows as needed
  • Assist with other departmental activities as needed

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in a variety of communication settings and among diverse styles and position levels
  • Able to understand, interpret, and adapt to the needs of different stakeholders and audiences as well as the strategic aspects of our business to generate innovative and creative outputs
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced PowerPoint capabilities, basic image and video editing, and Adobe applications (CC and Acrobat)
  • Excellent organization, planning, prioritization, and project management skills to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Comfortable managing agency partnerships
  • Proactive ownership and accountability of objectives, quality, budgets and timelines
Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in marketing, communications or commercial operations demonstrating success
  • Experience in a B2B environment preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
