Luna Delivery Inc. is an independent last-mile delivery contractor for FedEx Ground and is looking for an Associate Operations Manager in the Tampa area. The company operates seven days per week out of the Citrus Park terminal serving the New Port Richey area.

The position is in support of the Operations Manager to ensure that the company meets its contractual obligations with regards to safety, service, and compliance. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking, and able to solve problems quickly while promoting a team environment. 

The typical workday begins at 7:30 AM to oversee dispatch. Following dispatch, the Associate Operations Manager will drive a truck to the service area to perform deliveries and pickups as necessary to ensure service. Otherwise, the Associate Operations Manager will work with the Operations Manager to ensure that routes are completed in a timely manner by assisting drivers, preventing problems from occurring, and resolving problems quickly when they do occur.

Responsibilities also include route planning up to four times per week, which must be completed each evening. Compensation starts at $15 / hour.
